NorthPointe is an elder-led church that works in harmony with the church congregation to uphold our theological and philosophical commitments and seeks collaborative unity in practical ministry decisions.

Lee Davis

God saved Lee when he was seven and directed him toward vocational ministry during his teenage years. Lee met Whitney right after high school and they dated throughout their undergraduate training where Lee pursued a BA degree in Bible. After graduating, they married in 1999 and Lee stayed in school to pursue his Master of Divinity degree. Lee and Whitney have four sons, Jack, Sam, Abe, and Zeke.

Lee and Whitney moved to southern Delaware County in the summer of 2004 to begin the planting of NorthPointe. Lee is our vocational elder. He teaches on Sundays and has a passion for communicating God's Word so that people will learn how to pursue the glory of God and how to find their joy in Him. Along with the other elders he helps to oversee the discipleship of our church family.

Tom Gammon

Tom was born in Massachusetts and moved to California at the age of two years old. It was in California that he met and married Mary in 1972. Tom and Mary have four married daughters and twelve grandchildren. Tom came to Christ at approximately the age of twenty-one through the influence of both personal Bible study and books on Bible prophecy.

Tom and his family moved to central Ohio in 2002 because of a job change and have been at NorthPointe since January of 2007. Tom’s professional training and employment are in the field of Information Technology, but his passion is discipling people toward Biblical discernment and maturity through group Bible studies.

Greg Adams

Greg was born into a nurturing family of four in central Ohio. At the age of fourteen God won Greg to His Kingdom by allowing him to feel the weakness of his own flesh and experience the power of His Word. With a desire to see God's Kingdom spread near and far, Greg attended college and obtained degrees in Cross Cultural Communications and Biblical Studies. It was at college that Greg fell in love with both God's sovereign grace and his future wife Lynae.

After college, God directed Greg and Lynae to NorthPointe and they moved to Columbus in 2009. Since then, it has been Greg's privilege to encourage and be encouraged by the members of NorthPointe. Greg, his wife, and daughter live near OSU's campus where he manages an apartment complex.

Mark Shuter 

Mark was born in Ohio and moved to Missouri at the age of eight. He moved back to Ohio his sophomore year of high school. Mark came to Christ his freshman year at Ohio University where he later graduated with a Bachelor's of Business Administration. After graduation, Mark served as a missionary with the International Mission Board in China. He worked with an unreached people group for over two years, and then enrolled in The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, KY.
After obtaining a Master's in Missiology, Mark moved to Bahrain to work among the unreached Muslims of the Arabian Peninsula. While living in Bahrain Mark met Emily through their parents. Shortly after, in 2010, they were married and moved to the Columbus area. Mark now works for a medical devices company in Columbus.

Mark and Emily have three children; Lydia, Phoebe, and Henry. Mark loves Jesus, his family, and his church. He has a passion for reaching the unengaged and unreached peoples of the world with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. In addition, connecting with indigenous missionaries working among the unreached is a true joy for Mark.

Josh Mosher

Josh was born and raised in central Ohio. As a young child, he trusted Christ through the influence of his parents around the age of six. Josh met Tina during his sophomore year in high school. They dated through high school and college, and were married the summer after graduating in 2005. Josh earned a Bachelors degree in Business Administration from Malone University, and he now works in the energy industry.

Josh and Tina have three children; Annabelle, Lillian, and Asher. Josh has a passion for discipling Christian believers in the Gospel of Jesus Christ and pointing them to the love of their great Savior.
